It's that time of year
Since it is November, it's time for Mom and me to start our crafting projects. We like to make Christmas gifts and ornaments. Mom likes to run the power tools, while I paint. Some times the glue gets stuck on us and we laugh alot. We always hunt for new projects to do, so we can try different things.

It sounds like you and your mom will be having lots of fun working on your crafting projects. My favorite project is baking and decorating Christmas cookies and treats. I usually start with a big list of different kinds of cookies and treats and make a big grocery list. I try to make several different batches of cookie dough the weekend after Thanksgiving and put it in the freezer to bake later. When my nieces and nephews were small, I would have them all come over and we would have a cookie decorating party. It was always so much fun. I hope they will ask for some of my recipes when they have their own kids.
