Claudettes Place

Hi Claudette, I am just about finished with my Christmas shopping. I got a good deal on cookie tins at Wal-Mart. Every year I make lots of cookies and treats to give away to my friends and neighbors.

I am not sure when Cody is going to get here. His mom and dad are going on vacation next week so I bet it will be after they get back home. He can help me decorate the sugar cookies if he wants to. Do you help your mom in the kitchen?

I'm glad you got bargains.
Mom and I have been making gift containers. We like to recycle everything we can.Instant coffee containers are being decorated into candy gift boxes (these are great because they have snap on lids). We even got some new (empty) paint cans and decorated them as winter survival kits. Then we put a paint can opener on the lid, and a paint stick becomes the gift tag. We fill them with peoples favorite snacks. (I will post a picture of one for you)
Mom does'nt like to cook much, but we do get the frozen cookie dough and we make cookies for Dad.

Sounds like Cody has fun waiting for him at your house. Don't forget he likes honey to dip his cookies in.
