Lemonade
Every afternoon after our rains of late,
the sun come out and it gets humid and hot.
I asked Mom if I could set up a lemonade stand, she said yes.
I made a bunch of penguin shaped ice cubes
and mixed the lemonade.
I got my stand ready, so when the girls came by to tan,
they bought some of my lemonade.
I think I will do that again when Mom has her garage sale.
Dad said I looked like a soda jerk with my hat on.

Hi Claudette, you look very cute with your hat on. My 1st job was as a soda jerk. I wasn't very good at it, but it was a fun job while it lasted.
I hope you sell lots of lemonade. If you were here in TX, I bet you would, because it is hot and humid today.
