My DAD!

Warning! Mom's & Dad's please read this before the kids do.
This will be my last post for awhile. My Dad has a brain tumor, and is very, very sick. We don't know how much longer he will be with us.
My Dad gave me life, just as yours did for you. I would not be here now with you as my friends and posting this blog if not for my Dad.
My Dad always said he didn't like kids, but how could that be so, the way he loved me.
We would pray for a miracle, but my Dad said he is old and tired, so he would like to give his miracle to a child at St. Judes. If you would offer a prayer, please do the same, because I know my Dad would like that.
My Dad loved to go to Las Vegas. In fact that is where I was created. When my Dad gets to heaven I hope there is a casino there so he can go with his old friend Bud.
I know this is a strange thing to post on my blog, but I wanted you to know my Dad.
When this is all over, I think my Mom and I will move to Texas to be near Grandma and Aunt Penny. Maybe I will feel like posting my blog again.
Thank you for the year we spent together. May God bless you and the children you read this to.
Your friend,
Claudette

Claudette, It goes without saying that we will (and always do) keep both your parents in our thoughts and prayers. Love and prayers, Patrice

As the mistress of a Vegas board that Don frequents I think I am safe is saying that Don is a very well thought of and highly regarded contributer. I will pass on this sad news to his many friends and I have not a doubt in the world that a plethora of prayers and good thoughts will be sent above asking for comfort and love for your whole family.

If he can get back to posting we will be very happy. Please let him know that we miss him and we are all in his corner.

Karen

Hang in there, Don - you are in my prayers.

Kenny and I are so sorry to hear about this. You and your faily will be in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you all.

I am very saddened to hear this news. This is a very difficult time, and I wish all of you strength. It is never easy to deal with a sick family member Claudette, especially someone that you love so dearly.

Sorry to hear this sad news. My prayers are with all of you.

Your dad and mom are two of the friendlist VEGAS people we've met. Your adventerous blogs have been FUN to read.

With regret we hate to hear of dad's illness and wish your family all the LOVE and SUPPORT we have. May DON receive all the goodness to him that he has given.

Don...
"Be strong and have courage, all that trust in the LORD."

Hope to meet you ALL again.

Claudette,
I'm very saddened to read about your dad's illness. What a sad post to read.
I've enjoyed reading all about your adventures and love the photos of you. Let your dad know he brought big smiles to lots of folks on some of our own dark days.
You all will be in my prayers.
Give your dad a big hug from his board friends for us and let him know we're thinking about him.

Take care of your mom.

Blessings,
jolly

I was so sorry to hear the news about your father.

My prayers and good thoughts have been, and continue to be sent.

Life many times is unfair, and this is the unfairest thing I have heard.

Don, I will continue praying, and hoping, and wishing.
