After the storm...
I decided to check on my tomato plants.
It's a good thing I did,
they had been knocked down by the winds.
They look pretty good now.
Mom's flowering tree made it too.Now we have lots of limbs to pick up.

Hi Claudette, your tomato plants look great. You sure do have a green hoof, don't you?
I hope you aren't getting too much rain. I think you are close to some of the flooding in the Midwest. We are dry as a bone and hot, which is normal for this part of TX. I am ready for some fall weather. ;)

Hi Nymphie,
We did get some flooding. We had 3 days without water to drink because the river flooded the water treatment plant. Luckily mom keeps bottled water on hand for such emercengies. We were sure glad to get to take showers & do laundry again.
I am glad my tomato's made it. Dad likes tomato sandwiches & I wanted to grow him some this year.
