Saying Goodbye
As you all know my Dad was sick.It has been a hard couple of weeks.
My Dad passed away on February 28th.
We had a visitation, where all his friends
came and talked with us.
Then the next day we had his funeral.
Pastor Kendall said nice things he had learned about my Dad.
All our friends from the Las Vegas chat boards, made posts about him.
We were glad they keep us in their prayers.
They even sent us cards from all over the US and Canada.
It is lonely without my Dad , but we have to keep going.
I will try and get back to my posting once we move.

Trophies
My cousin Dakota is in the cub scouts.A couple of weeks ago My Aunt Donna brought me these trophies
that Dakota won so I could see them. The cars and trophies are from his Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby Race 2008 Pack 100 & 11 Eddyville/Ottumwa. The Big one He Placed 1st Place in the Bear DenThe Smaller one Was Peoples Choice everyone Picked his car out of all that was there.
His is the blue one, The pink one is his mom's.
I also held my car, the yellow one, his name is Guido.
Way to go Dakota!

My Dad's Nurse
My Dad has a nurse that comes to our house to check on him.
Her Name is Pam.
She is very nice and let me help her take Dad's blood pressure.
She told me she even likes my ruby red slippers.
She will come and see my Dad a couple of times a week.
We really like her.

Eating Out
Last week Dad was feeling up to a road trip.I was so excited to find out that we were
going to eat at one of our favorite restaraunts.
I was even happier to know that Dot was our waitress.
She is the best waitress in the whole world, I think.
I had oat meal & preserves.
Boy was it good.

Ponies Everywhere
You know we like ponies around our house.
Mom got one for Christmas year before last.
This year dad got her three more.
The reason their are five is because
Grandma & Grandpa got dad a
casino horse this Christmas.

Fivel and I decided to get out our stamp collection today.
Dad let us borrow his page magnafier so we could both look
at stamps at the same time.This year we got some Disney stamps.
Christmas cards bring in a lot of them for our collection.
