New Years Eve
Since the new year is almost here,
it is time to get the Christmas decorations put away.
Dad and I went out to get the post out of the ground
that our scarecrow and santa were held up with.
The ground was froze.
So we got out a jack to help us.
Dad let me turn the jack as much as I could. Then he finished job.
The yard look so bare now.
At least we had warm weather to decorate in
and to remove the decorations.
What are your plans this evening?
P.S. Happy birthday brother Brandon

Poinsettias
I think the poinsettias are so pretty.
[red is one of my favorite colors]
They had them lining the walls
Did you know that these are Mexican plants?
Boy the internet and dictionary are great tools.
Isn't this another nice Santa display. The stripes on the chair are Christmasy too.
Wouldn't it be fun to work where they build these Christmas figures?

More Christmas Decorations
Binions always has nice outdoorsy displays.
This deer kept turning his head.
It was funny to walk by and see people sitting with Santa.
My Grandma would like the street light.
Aren't the bunnies cute ?
[they are house slippers, lol]
Look how big this Teddy bear is.Most of the gifts are bigger than me.
I wonder what Santa will bring me?

Christmas Goose
I saw these lighted Christmas Geese and just had to get a
picture of them. This is the only dispaly i've ever seen them in.
Here is a nice "horse" drawn sleigh.
I think we need to find some lighted horses for our yard.
I saw some lighted long horn steers on the way home from the airport.
(I'd like to know where people get these different
lighted critters from)
What unusual christmas displays have you seen?

It's getting closer
Since Christmas is getting closer I decided to take a break and get my
letter written and mailed to Santa.
I like the pretty mailbox at Main Street Station.
After I mailed my letter, we were walking around looking at Christmas displays.
We looked down Fremont street and Santa was there.
I didn't waste any time getting in line to talk to him.
I told santa I had mailed him my letter.
He said that was good.
He is very busy this time of year.
He sid he would like Chocolate chip cookies this year.
I will bake them for him [and Dad]
Santa said he would be sure and
leave some for my Dad.

8 Seconds
Hello everyone.
We just got back from another trip to wonderful Las Vegas.
I'm glad we went when we did. As you probably know they have the National Finals Rodeo.
It was the last day of it when we arrived.
We went down to Binions Sunday evening. There were a lot of friendly cowboys there and they had a mechanical bull. Hey Claudette, give it a try someone yelled. It was just sitting there, how long can 8 seconds be?
(Don't try this without professionals around)
Turn it loose! 2 Seconds, what happened? 4 Seconds, ooof. Cowgirl down, bring on the clown. (I should have brought my boots and spurs)
Oh that smarts, I think I will find something less strenuous to do while we are here.
[aren't the stars pretty]
I got lots of Christmas pictures to show you. Please check back.

Reindeer
We went over to the store because they said they would have reindeer there. These are the two they had. [I wish they had been in the same cage, instead of seperate]. I think they would have liked it better. When I got home, I got in my time machine and went to the north pole to tell Santa they were ok.
I will be gone for a couple of days, so I want to say EARLY Happy Birthday to Julie and Ashley . Their birthday is on the 12th. Have a wonderul time while I'm gone.

Look at this...
Giant Christmas light, that my Dad got for me. It is 14 inches tall. That is almost at tall as me. Dad got me the red one so it would match my shoes. I even put on my Santa hat to be more festive. I just love looking at all the Christmas lights, don't you?
Have a wonderful day.

I love my Dad
Every December I watch alot of Christmas movies [I'm sure everyone does]. I was talking to my Dad about them and the fact that reindeers can fly. I said I wonder what it would be like to fly [without a hang glider]. That next thing I knew, my Dad was throwing me up in the air and catching me. It was so much fun, I laughed and laughed. Dad said now you know what it is like to fly. Dad's are the best (and Moms too).

Exercise
After doing my time travel [I met the Jetson's], Mom said I needed to travel the old fashioned way and get some exercise. I decided on my Christmas bike. Wally and I rode all over the house. Then we watched the 12 dogs of Christmas while we rested.

Time travel
After reading Calvin and Hobbes I asked Dad to help me build a time machine. I think it turned out pretty well. Wally and I decided to take it for a test run before we invited all our friends along. We went back in time and saw dinosaurs, then we went to the future to see the Jestons. [I even met a new friend and brought him home for a quick visit]
Now that I have my own time machine, I should get some interesting pictures. It really works swell.Maybe i'll see you in the [past ] or future. Have a great day!

Talking about Funnies
I just love Calvin and Hobbes. I have 8 of their books. Who would believe such a thing could happen. They have so many adventures. I think their time machine is cool. I think it is funy when Hobbes hides and jumps on Calvin, it always makes me laugh.

Sunday Funnies
The Sunday funnies are the best. Wally, Hammy and I like to read them before we go to Sunday school. I have lots of favorites. Calvin and Hobbes, Zits, Peanuts, Garfield, Baby Blues, Fox Trot, For better or for worse... there are so many. Can you guess which is my favorite? What is your favorite comic?
P.S. Happy birthday great Uncle Jerry

Penguins
Isn't this guy cute. He's not really that much bigger than me. I think penguins are cute. Do you think they are cute? I like the movie March of the Penguins. It was very interesting. I learned alot about penguins. [I was cold just watching them out in the storms]. I thought it was amazing the way they walked with their egg laying on their feet to keep them from freezing. The female passed it to the male, [not an easy task] so she could go eat when the male got back from eating. This is a movie everyone should watch.

Time to relax
It has been so cold after our 60 degree(20 degrees now) week [no snow yet, just ice]. I decided to relax in a tanning bed with some music playing in the background. It made me so warm and toasty that I fell asleep and napped for about 15 minutes. I awoke refreshed and ready for crafting when my sister showed up.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNT PENNY
